VIDEO PROCTOSCOPY

The proctoscopy is used to diagnose the health conditions like piles or hemorrhoids, anal cancer or rectal polyps. The method is used to visualize an inner portion of the anal channel and the rectum. The rectum is the several inch long tubes that attach large intestine or colon to the anus.

SIGMOIDOSCOPY

It is a method used for close inspection of the inner side of the colon and rectum. The colon is the portion of the large intestine near the rectum. It helps to absorb water and nutrients from the food. It is the site of stool formation. Another name is a flexible sigmoidoscopy. It is a method uses a flexible tube with a light source to view the internal side of the sigmoid colon.

VARICOSE VEINS

The veins present in the lower limb have flaps that keep the one-way blood flow that moves towards the heart and stop its backflow. If these flaps are thin or damaged, then it can back up or pull the blood through the veins. Constant pulling induces the stretching, swelling of the vessel and result in varicose veins. Varicose veins are swelled, blue colored vessels flow just below the surface of the skin. It develops in legs and feet. Varicose veins tend to be inherited and grows with a person’s age. Varicose veins are common health disorder but do not create any difficulties. Noticeable enlarged and tangled veins enclosed by pieces of overwhelmed blood vessels known as spider veins. The external pressure on veins also begins the development of spider veins. They are superficial varicose veins.
